This is Where the Future Begins

When we were kids, we would want to be superheroes and successful when we grow up. Now, we are grown (to an extent), and we still want to be successful in a couple of years. So, the question is: “when are we really going to be superheroes?” “When are we going to be successful?” and “when is that couple of years going to come?” Perhaps, the couple of years that you have been longing for just past before you started making your “couple of years” plan. Therefore, your “couple of years” plan is just one of the many reasons why you never saw the desired “couple of years” come by. The “couple of years” is now because this is where the future begins.

There is a lot that we aspire to do. There is a lot that we aspire to become. Aspire? Not really, I could say there is so much we wish to do and become. We are not becoming who we should be is because we believed and had always believed that this day is the present day, and the future is yet to come. We accept what we see and hope that things will change in due time, and we fail to realize that we are not where we ought to be because we are roped by life’s biggest gyp, time.
