How to Beat Procrastination for Smartphone addicts

Just like every other human being, I found myself battling with the biggest thief of accomplishments, procrastination. I could wake up in the morning with an endless list of to-dos but somehow find myself running through messages on social media or lazily strolling around the house, telling myself that I’m trying to clear my mind. A mind that I probably clogged, by myself, with needs to respond to unproductive chats. On several occasions through the years, I spent half of my awake time doing nothing productive. I’d view WhatsApp and Instagram statuses, laugh at funny skits, read short motivational quotes, and even screenshots a few that interested me. Boom! Five hours are all “done and dusted,” unproductive, and never to return.

This has been an unwon battle since I became a conscious adult, and definitely, people are fighting the same battle. I tried a couple of things to help me get through this and improve my productivity. You know just as that goes. Exactly as you’d predict, a total sham. lol.
One morning, I uninstalled the social networking apps on my phone, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. No, no! I left Twitter. I couldn’t stand the absence of that app on my device. I was smoked high. I was going to be the most fabulous achiever on the planet from that day forward.
