I set Namecheap’s support team on fire for this reason a couple of months ago. I found out someone copied my work — every word and punctuation — on a website with his name as the author.

Contacted the site administrator and got no response in 48 hours. I had to set the website host ablaze with endless tickets for three weeks.

I felt an explosion in my head. I couldn’t tell what it was. Anger, disgust, disappointment? I really couldn’t tell and if I had the power to pull the entire website down, I would have done so because over 50% of the content in there was copied from the original authors. Painfully, the acclaimed writer is gaining engagements on pieces that aren’t his. Irk!
