Dear, President Obama.

With no ounce of self-doubt, I love everything you stand for —your values and personality (as perceived by me).

I have absolute confidence that you care about the innocent people that may be affected by this horror. I also believe that your prayers will go a long way —sure Michelle’s will go longer. :-)

I wonder, nevertheless, why the United States is unquestionably allowed to fight in the defense of democracy at the expense of innocent lives in far away countries (say, Afghanistan) while autocratic/communist nations like Russia are constantly barbecued on the grill of public opinion for the same reasons —values & beliefs.

Yes, I believe in democracy. (Heck! why wouldn’t I?) But, is shoving this belief down the gullets of other nations really democratic?

Of course, no one is shoving it down Russia’s —at least not obviously. But isn’t she (Russia) allowed to perceive “Uncle Democracy” moving in next door as a threat? Isn’t she right to resist just as hard as America defends her beloved “Great Experiment”?

A brief enlightenment will be highly appreciated, Mr. President. :-)
