A simple secret to success that I learned from a 2-year-old toddler.

On November 6th, 2019, one of those days that I get sick of my library and workspace, I picked up the book I was reading and zoomed out of my apartment. I had been indoor, in that dark apartment, for 12 days. The sun rays were piercing. I could barely see the objects in front of me. I felt sharp aches on my head. I stood beside the entrance door for a couple of minutes as my eyes adjusted to the brightness of the normal world. It can get really intense for loners. I wasn’t very sure where I would go to. I didn’t know anyone in the neighbourhood so, visitation was not a given. I stood there for a moment, my body was motionless but my brain did the job of a hundred thousand labourers. My eyes were trying to adjust to the daylight, that must be the optic nerves and the optic lobes negotiating; my brain was trying to figure out where my body should be.

“The mall!” I thought. Bingo!

The mall was a perfect option with numerous faces and voices present. I could do some grocery shopping before I head back to my closet once again.

The mall it was and zoom, zoom. I was on my way.

At the mall, I found free seats on the broad passageway. I treated myself to one of the seats and flipped open the book with me. I was…
